Job SummaryThe Senior Loan Servicing Representative is responsible for the independent management of the bank’s most complex syndicated and bilateral loan portfolios. This role serves as a technical lead and escalation point for the servicing team, overseeing high-stakes activities like agent-led deal restructuring, secondary trade settlements, and complex fee modeling in Loan IQ. The Senior Representative ensures 100% adherence to LSTA/LMA standards while driving process improvements and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities1. Advanced Deal & Agency Administration
Complex Modeling: Independently interpret Credit Agreements to model non-standard deal structures in Loan IQ (e.g., PIK interest, multi-tier pricing grids, and complex borrowing bases).
Agent-Led Portfolio: Manage the bank’s role as Administrative Agent for multi-bank syndications, including coordinating with 20+ participant banks on funding and distributions.
Global Interfacing: Execute multi-currency transactions, managing FX conversions and cross-border tax requirements (W-8/W-9 forms).
2. Quality Assurance & Escalation
Transaction Oversight: Review and approve high-value drawdowns, rollovers, and payments processed by junior representatives.
Exception Management: Lead the resolution of long-standing reconciliation breaks and "unsettled" trade status exceptions.
Audit & Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal/external audits and regulatory exams regarding loan data integrity.
3. Secondary Market & Trade Settlement
Trade Support: Coordinate with the Closing team to settle Par and Distressed loan trades via LSTA/LMA documentation.
Position Reconciliation: Ensure Loan IQ accurately reflects traded positions and "Wash Account" balances are zeroed out post-settlement.
