Securities Operations Associate

1. Trade Processing & Settlement

• Trade Capture: Monitor real-time trade feeds to ensure all executions are captured accurately in the back-office systems.

• Settlement Oversight: Facilitate the movement of securities and cash across global markets (DTC, Euroclear, Clear stream).

• Fail Management: Proactively identify and resolve "settlement fails." Investigate the cause (e.g., incorrect instructions, lack of stock) and coordinate with counterparties to prevent buy-ins.

2. Corporate Actions & Asset Servicing

• Monitor and process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions (Dividends, Stock Splits, M&As, Rights Issues).

• Ensure accurate tax withholding and reclaim processing for cross-border securities.

3. Reconciliation & Data Integrity

• Daily Recs: Perform "Three-Way Reconciliations" between internal ledgers, custodians, and external clearing houses.

• Break Resolution: Investigate and clear cash and position breaks within strictly defined SLAs.

• Reference Data: Maintain static data, including SSI (Standard Settlement Instructions) and security master files.
