Senior Sourcing Specialist
The Senior Sourcing Specialist is responsible for leading end-to-end procurement cycles, with a heavy focus on Professional Services and Strategic Material Sourcing. You will act as the bridge between Legal, Finance, and Operations, ensuring that contracts are not just signed, but expertly drafted to mitigate risk and executed to ensure on-time material delivery.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of high-value vendors for professional services and raw materials.
Execute complex RFP/RFI/RFQ processes, translating business needs into technical requirements.
Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to develop long-term sourcing strategies.
2. Advanced Contract Drafting & Management
Draft and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and complex Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Partner with Legal counsel to ensure all contracts contain robust protections, including indemnification, IP rights, and termination clauses.
Manage the full contract lifecycle, tracking expiration dates, renewals, and compliance audits.
3. Operational Execution & Material Delivery
Oversee contract execution to ensure suppliers meet all milestones and performance metrics.
Coordinate with logistics teams to monitor material delivery schedules, resolving bottlenecks or supply disruptions proactively.
Manage "Professional Services" engagements to ensure external consultants meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Relationship Management
Act as a subject matter expert for internal departments on procurement best practices.
Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key vendors to drive continuous improvement and cost-savings.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Law, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in a senior procurement or sourcing role, preferably with experience in Indirect Spend/Professional Services.
Drafting Expertise: Proven ability to author contract language without heavy reliance on templates.
Technical: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) software.
Soft Skills: High-stakes negotiation skills and the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
