Role Overview

Join our Systematic Equities team within Multi-Asset and Hedge Fund Solutions. We leverage deep domain expertise in equities, an extensive global data catalog, and advanced technologies to achieve superior investment outcomes. Our team takes a systematic, data-driven approach to analyzing global markets, risk premiums, and alpha sources.

What You’ll Do
  • Alpha Research: Collaborate directly with Portfolio Managers to lead the end-to-end process of alpha research—including data collection, empirical analysis, strategy implementation, back-testing, and model ensembling for systematic equity strategies.

  • Portfolio Optimization: Conduct in-depth research on portfolio construction, transaction cost modeling (TCA), and risk models to continuously enhance investment strategies.

  • Infrastructure Management: Maintain and enhance existing production and research infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, speed, and execution accuracy.

  • Investment Process Support: Partner with Portfolio Managers in daily investment activities, including monitoring portfolio risk exposures, performance attribution, evaluating post-trade transaction costs, and preparing insights for senior leadership and global clients.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of quantitative research experience focusing on equity strategies, gained on either the buy-side or sell-side.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong intuition for empirical financial research, backed by exceptional analytical, statistical, and quantitative modeling skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience handling large financial datasets and applying statistical/numerical methods. Familiarity with alternative data sources is a strong plus.

  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with keen attention to detail, capable of effective multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
