Junior Website Data Enrichment Analyst

Overview
Role to support the distributor website enrichment project by auditing internal Sigma-
Aldrich product content, extracting relevant data from internal sites and documents, and
mapping it to distributor templates. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate,
consistent product data.

Key Responsibilities
- Review internal Sigma-Aldrich product pages and related documents for data relevant to
distributor templates.
- Extract, verify, and compile product data (e.g., specs, identifiers, descriptions, images) to
align with distributor templates.
- Map data to predefined template fields and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product management, regulatory, IT)
to obtain missing data and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain data quality, completeness, and documentation of sources.
- Assist in updating CMS or content repositories used by distributors as needed.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and maintain an auditable trail of data provenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in data/copy/content enrichment, e-commerce, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (vlookups, pivots, data validation) and basic data
transformations.
- Familiarity with template-driven data mapping and data governance concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret internal documents and product specifications.
- Basic project coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences, chemistry, business, or related field
(preferred).
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with CMS, PIM/ERP systems, or content templates.
- Understanding of regulatory/compliance considerations for product data.
- Basic SQL or data visualization skills (optional).
Deliverables
- Mapped product data aligned to distributor templates.
- Data provenance documentation and source references.
- Updated content in CMS or content repositories as required.
- Status reports on data gaps and remediation actions.
