Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced HR Specialist on a temporary basis to support our operations at the Thane Transformer Factory and Airoli Office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in statutory compliances, factory/office regulations, and payroll management.

This role requires a proactive professional who can seamlessly manage day-to-day HR operations across both locations and ensure 100% legal and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities1. Statutory Compliance Management
  • Ensure full compliance with all central and state labor laws applicable to the Thane Factory and Airoli Office.

  • Manage end-to-end operations and monthly filings for PF (Provident Fund), ESIC, LWF (Labour Welfare Fund), and Professional Tax (PT).

  • Oversee compliance related to the Shops and Establishments Act for the Airoli office.

  • Maintain, update, and audit all statutory registers, muster rolls, and display notices as required by law.

  • Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, or government authorities during inspections or audits.

2. Contract Labour Regulation & Factory Compliance
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act guidelines.

  • Verify contractor compliance, including monthly wage sheets, PF/ESIC challans, and attendance records before bill clearance.

  • Assist in maintaining safety, health, and welfare compliance specific to the Thane Transformer Factory environment.

3. Payroll & Time Office Management
  • Manage day-to-day time-office operations, including tracking attendance, leaves, and shifts for both on-roll and contractual staff.

  • Collaborate with the finance/payroll team to provide accurate inputs (lop, overtime, incentives) for monthly payroll processing.

  • Resolve employee queries regarding salary, deductions, tax, and benefits in a timely manner.

4. General HR Operations
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and exit formalities for temporary/permanent staff at both locations.

  • Maintain accurate and updated physical and digital employee personnel files.

  • Provide administrative support for employee engagement or factory-level operational needs.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

CriteriaRequirementEducationGraduate or Postgraduate degree/diploma in Human Resources (MBA-HR, MILS, MPM, or equivalent).Experience3 to 4 years of core experience in HR Compliance and Payroll (Experience in a manufacturing/factory setup is a strong plus).Technical SkillsProficient in MS Office (especially Advanced Excel for payroll inputs) and familiarity with HRIS/Payroll software.Geographic MobilityMust be willing to travel/work flexibly between the Thane Factory and Airoli Office as required.

Key Competencies
  • Sound Legal Knowledge: Deep understanding of Maharashtra state labor rules, PF/ESIC portals, and contract labor clauses.

  • Execution & Urgency: Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle urgent timelines efficiently.

  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact with factory workers, corporate staff, and external vendors.

Compensation & Terms
  • Salary: ₹7,00,000 – ₹7,50,000 Per Annum (CTC), commensurate with experience and suitability.

  • Job Type: Temporary / Contractual (Maximum allowable period).
