AVP, Talent Acquisition Manager

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking an AVP, Talent Acquisition Manager based in Pune, India, to join the People team. This is a

fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and results-driven organization. This role will manage a team of

experienced recruiters and will provide vendor oversight Process Outsourcing (PRO)

partnership that provides sourcing, screening, and recruitment coordination support. The Talent Acquisition

Manager will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers and key stakeholders across AB to ensure we

identify, attract and hire the best talent across many areas of our firm in Pune, India.

Core Responsibilities:

 Partner with local leadership and global Talent Acquisition team members to design and drive the

professional talent acquisition strategy and process for AB, while maintaining responsibility for the

execution of the strategy in India.

 This role will require the ability to manage a team of recruiters and recruitment coordinators as well as

relationships with external search partners in line with firm strategy and policy. The RPO partner provides

recruitment, sourcing, screening, and recruitment coordination support to various business lines within AB.

This role will serve as a key point of escalation for recruiting team members and clients on recruitment

matters.

 Responsible for vendor oversight, management, and evaluation of AB’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing

(RPO) partnership in Pune, India. This includes review and management of RPO invoices, maintaining

close oversight of associated costs, and tracking third party agency fees.

 Closely track, analyze, and monitor recruiting team performance using data driven insights including

recruitment metrics, KPIs and SLAs.

 Develop sound reporting, metrics, and scorecards to calibrate success and progress of the recruitment

function.

 Run point on senior-level searches and work with team members to build key sourcing pipelines and

candidate outreach campaigns for business units.

 Oversee ad-hoc recruitment projects designed to enhance the experience of our candidates, hiring

managers and new joiners in areas such as interview training, internal mobility and recruiting strategy,

recruitment marketing, and process improvements.

 Facilitate a disciplined, client and candidate focused approach to sourcing, screening, making offers, and

on-boarding successful candidates, while upholding global policies and procedures.

 Assess the opportunity for enhancing AB’s digital employment brand and recruitment marketing strategy

for Pune, India; work across the firm to identify and execute against those opportunities to drive candidate

engagement and interest.

 Manage agency relationships - quality and preferred list oversight along with negotiation and contracts.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience managing recruiting teams, in financial or

professional services, with a passion for innovative sourcing and talent acquisition strategies. Additionally, the

candidate should possess:

 Strong subject matter knowledge in talent acquisition strategies and processes for identifying, attracting

and hiring high caliber talent across various business lines within financial services, banking, or

professional services

 Experience hiring for Asset and Wealth Management roles

 Track record of managing high performing recruitment functions with dedicated focus on elevated client

and candidate services and fast-paced delivery

 Experienced with various sourcing strategies and processes including digital, video-based and/or AI based

screening and search tools

 Excellent client service focus and ability to develop effective partnerships inside and outside the

organization

 Experienced in managing a hybrid team and/or partnering with an RPO

 Strong communication and influencing skills; demonstrated success in working with all levels of the firm

and collaborating cross-functionally

 Strong commercial awareness to drive quality, efficiency and cost savings

 Broad knowledge and understanding of the People function

 Knowledge and hands on experience with Workday Recruiting

 Project management skills with track record of focusing on positive, high impact outcomes
