Analytics Manager
Experience from 10 to 15 years
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or a related quantitative discipline.
Strong years of experience in Fraud Risk Management, Fraud Analytics, Fraud Strategy, or Financial Crimes.
Proven experience developing and implementing fraud detection strategies within consumer lending, credit card, personal loans, or other unsecured lending portfolios.
Strong knowledge of First-Party Fraud and Third-Party Fraud typologies and mitigation techniques.
Experience working with fraud decisioning and risk assessment platforms (FICO, SSE)
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
Strong stakeholder management and influence skills across multiple organizational levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentation experience.
Job Expectations:
Fraud Strategy Development & Ownership
Lead the design, implementation, and governance of pre-booking fraud strategies across unsecured lending products.
Own the end-to-end fraud decisioning framework for application fraud risk assessment.
Develop and maintain fraud detection controls, rules, and decision strategies that effectively identify and prevent fraudulent applications.
Drive strategic enhancements to address both First-Party Fraud (Synthetic Identity, Bust-Out, Credit Washing, etc.) and Third-Party Fraud threats.
Ensure fraud strategies align with enterprise risk appetite, regulatory expectations, and business objectives.
Fraud Analytics & Insights
Perform advanced analytics to identify fraud patterns, emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and portfolio trends.
Leverage internal and external data sources to improve fraud detection capabilities and customer risk segmentation.
Conduct performance monitoring and root cause analysis to assess strategy effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
Quantify fraud risk, operational impacts, customer experience implications, and financial outcomes of strategy changes.
Utilize statistical, machine learning, and rule-based methodologies to improve fraud identification and prevention
Decisioning Platform & Technology Enablement
Leverage expertise in fraud assessment and decisioning platforms (FICO, SSE) to configure, deploy, and optimize fraud strategies.
Partner with technology teams to implement new fraud capabilities, data integrations, and decisioning enhancements.
Translate analytical insights into operationally executable fraud controls within production environments.
Support platform modernization and strategic initiatives related to fraud prevention infrastructure.
Strategy Optimization & Governance
Establish monitoring frameworks, performance metrics, reporting, and governance routines to evaluate strategy effectiveness.
Manage ongoing rule tuning, threshold optimization, and strategy recalibration based on portfolio performance.
Ensure strategies maintain an appropriate balance between fraud losses, customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Support risk governance reviews, audits, controls testing, and model risk management requirements where applicable.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Credit Risk, Product, Fraud Operations, Compliance, Technology, Data Science, and Model Development teams to deliver integrated fraud solutions.
Influence strategic direction through data-driven recommendations and executive-level presentations.
Act as a subject matter expert for pre-booking fraud risk and application fraud trends.
