About RMG Business Analytics
Join Barclays as a Reboot Intern in RMG Secured Funding and Liquidity team within Global Markets. You’ll use
technology and finance / risk knowledge to help management understand, monitor, and optimize the Secured
Funding and Liquidity profile of the business.
What you’ll do
Build and enhance dashboards and reporting to provide clear, timely insights on Secured Funding and
Liquidity metrics for Global Markets.
Analyze data across the secured funding business globally, identify drivers of key movements, and support
stakeholder discussions with evidence-based insights.
Automate recurring processes and develop next-generation tools using Python/SQL and BI platforms to
improve efficiency, controls, and transparency.
Partner with teams across RMG and the broader front office and control functions (Sales, Trading, Product
Control, Credit, Legal, Operations/Operations Control, etc.) to resolve data issues, respond to queries, and
support deliverables.
How you’ll be assessed
Candidates returning to work after a career break who are ready to restart their professional career in a
structured programme. You may be assessed on skills critical for success in the role, including analytical problem-
solving, stakeholder management, communication, and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs under time pressure
Required Qualifications
Graduate from a top-tier Engineering or Business school.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to senior
stakeholders.
Interest in Finance, Risk, and Liquidity matrices.
Knowledge of financial products, risk analytics, prime brokerage business and secured funding.
Experience creating dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, Qlik and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to leverage AI tools such as Co-Pilot, Claude etc.
Strong ownership mindset, organization, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications
Understanding one or more asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, FX).
Experience in finance or risk.
Progress toward CFA or FRM
Risk and Control Objective
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide
Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
