TechOps-VIM-Senior
The Opportunity
We are looking for an SAP VIM Senior Consultant to join our Big 4 Consultant Group GDS Team. As part of our Global Delivery Services (GDS) TechOps team, you will be responsible for providing functional support for SAP VIM across various regions for our global clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address issues, implement enhancements, and optimize design to meet business requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related technology field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or comparable job experience.
Experience: 6+ years of experience in one or more areas within SAP VIM, preferably with global clients.
Incident Management: Responsible for providing support for SAP VIM module incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Problem Solving: Analyze incidents raised by users and provide effective functional solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure issues and requests are followed up and addressed timely.
Change Management: Handle change requests with a clear understanding of new business requirements and deliver efficient process solutions.
Communication: Strong cross-functional communication skills with experience in offshore/onsite delivery models.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in defect resolution and analysis related to VIM.
Agility: Ability to work with minimal guidance in a time-critical environment.
Flexibility: Ability to manage work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management, including shifts and being on-call for critical requirements.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, invoice management, and document capture.
Proficiency in SAP VIM configuration, including workflow design, data extraction, OCR integration, and integration with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
Experience with SAP VIM integration with OpenText Extended ECM or other document management systems.
Professional SAP Certification in SAP VIM.
What You Will Do
Application Support: Provide day-to-day Level 2 or 3 support across IT Service Management (service requests, incidents, enhancements, and change management).
Issue Resolution: Lead and coordinate the resolution of complex technical issues and system outages, including root cause analysis.
Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide advice on SAP VIM solutions and designs.
Solution Design: Lead the design and configuration of SAP VIM solutions aligned with client requirements and industry best practices.
System Configuration: Configure SAP VIM settings, workflows, document types, data capture, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, user manuals, and test scripts.
Mentorship: Train junior SAP VIM team members, sharing best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends and SAP best practices to drive operational efficiency through automation.
