Sr Staff Validation Engineer
Sr Validation Engineer:
We are looking for an experienced Sr Validation engineer to join the Automotive System Power Business Division in the Power Product Group. The successful candidate will work on Automotive Battery Management SoCs targeted for diverse product portfolios and work on validation of battery management hardware and software, ensuring reliability and performance
Essential Functions
Work on the development of test board schematic. Refers to product definition and design documentation to ensure compliance with system-level requirements. Experience with Board Layout design is a big plus.
Drive validation and characterization on bench setups developed for high precision measurements. Define and generate block diagrams for required test setups.
Experienced with measurement and characterization equipment : Source Measure Units, Digital Multimeters, Power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, thermos streamer is desired.
Work with test engineering teams for board design handoffs and BoM discussions. Handle bench-ATE correlation by working with the test engineering team.
Minimum:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
3–5 years of experience in product validation within the semiconductor industry.
3+ years of experience in product validation within the Battery Management System SoC validation domain.
Good understanding of BMS SoC blocks (Battery Current Measurement, Cell Voltage Measurement, Cell Balancing and Gate Drivers).
Proven experience in PCB design and product validation using Altium Designer.
Python programming skill for automated lab evaluation
Preferred:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level messaging and presentations.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
Familiarity with automotive technical trends.
Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
