Sourcing Associate / Contract Drafting
1. Contract Drafting & Negotiation
Drafting: Create and refine non-technical contracts including MSAs, SOWs, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Amendments.
Negotiation: Act as the lead point of contact for negotiating commercial terms (pricing, payment schedules, and termination clauses) to ensure favorable outcomes.
Redlining: Review vendor-provided paper and perform redline edits to bring agreements in line with internal legal and compliance playbooks.
2. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
Vendor Selection: Lead the RFI/RFP (Request for Proposal) process for non-technical categories (e.g., Marketing, HR services, Office Operations, Professional Services).
Market Analysis: Research and identify potential suppliers, evaluating them based on quality, reliability, and price.
Cost Savings: Identify opportunities for bulk purchasing or contract consolidation to drive down year-over-year spend.
3. Vendor & Relationship Management
Performance Tracking: Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to ensure vendors are meeting the KPIs established in the contract.
Dispute Resolution: Serve as the escalation point for vendor conflicts, billing discrepancies, or service failures.
Onboarding: Manage the "Know Your Vendor" (KYV) process, ensuring all new partners pass risk and compliance screenings.
