Senior Systems Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to drive the testing strategy for our digital payment systems and modern financial platforms. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience in Java-based test automation using both Selenium and Playwright, alongside hands-on domain expertise in payment processing, gateway integrations, and financial compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks from scratch using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright.

• Payment Flow Testing: Plan and execute end-to-end testing for complex payment workflows, including card authorizations, clearing, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, multi-currency processing, and 3D-Secure (3DS) authentication.

• UI & API Automation: Automate web UI flows using Playwright/Selenium and execute API automation for RESTful/SOAP payment endpoints using RestAssured or HTTP clients.

• Migration & Cross-Browser Execution: Leverage Playwright for cross-browser, parallel execution and assist in migrating legacy Selenium scripts to modern Playwright frameworks where applicable.

• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for nightly runs and regression validation.

• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software defects, working closely with software engineering, DevOps, and Product Management teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Compliance & Security: Ensure automated tests cover security and compliance standards relevant to the payments industry (e.g., PCI-DSS, PSD2, ISO 20022).

Mandatory Requirements

• Payment Experience (Mandatory): 3+ years of direct experience testing digital payment gateways, acquiring/issuing systems, credit/debit card processing, wire transfers (SWIFT, ACH, SEPA), or merchant management platforms.

• Automation Engineering: 5+ years of core experience in Test Automation using Java.

• Selenium WebDriver: Strong expertise in Selenium (Page Object Model, Page Factory, dynamic wait strategies, cross-browser execution).

• Playwright: Hands-on experience writing and running test scripts using Playwright (Java or TypeScript/JavaScript binding).
