Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
Hands‑on experience with Workday Reporting, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports and calculated fields.
Experience working with Workday Prism Analytics, including data ingestion, transformations, and dataset management.
Experience developing dashboards or analytical solutions using Power BI (nice‑to‑have).
Strong proficiency with SQL and understanding of relational data models.
Experience integrating Workday data with external analytics or reporting platforms.
Understanding of Workday security domains and role‑based access controls.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions related to:
Workday Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reporting
Calculated fields, dashboards, and scorecards
Workday Prism Analytics data ingestion, transformations, and datasets
Job Expectations:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience in Workday Reporting
Ability to work from a designated Wells Fargo office location in India, following a hybrid or in‑office model as determined by business needs.
Willingness to support production releases, deployments, and issue resolution, including occasional extended hours aligned to business timelines.
Flexibility to support critical reporting or release milestones during peak periods.
Commitment to continuous learning of Workday and Prism Analytics enhancements.
