Senior QA Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, joins, stored procedures).

- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or

similar).

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration,

performance).

- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Agile Collaboration

- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and

retrospectives.

- Communicate effectively with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, data governance policies, and quality standards.

Preferred Skills

- ETL/Data Pipelines: Strong understanding of data flow, transformation logic, and

validation techniques.

- SQL: Advanced proficiency for backend data validation and troubleshooting.

- Jira: Experience in defect tracking and Agile workflows.

- Excel: Strong skills in formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

- Communication Skills: High – ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and

stakeholders.

Good to Have:

- Domain Knowledge: Exposure to data analytics, reporting, or pharmaceutical services

domain is a must.

- Automation Testing: Hands-on Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium)

- Exposure to prompt engineering for AI/ML testing.
