Senior Procurement Counsel - Logistic

Must-Have Requirements

• Qualified lawyer (LLB/JD or equivalent).

• 8-10+ years of legal experience, ideally with a combination of top-tier law firm and in-house multinational experience.

• Strong procurement contracting experience, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-value supplier agreements.

• Significant experience supporting Logistics, Supply Chain, or Deliver Procurement, including:

  • Warehousing

  • 3PL/4PL agreements

  • Transportation and freight

  • Customs brokerage

  • Logistics services

• Proven experience negotiating complex, high-value commercial agreements across APAC and other cross-border jurisdictions.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Liability and indemnities

  • Service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Intellectual property

  • Data privacy and data protection

  • Commercial risk allocation

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior Procurement and business leaders.

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Must be based in Mumbai and able to support APAC time zones.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare, MedTech, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences industries.

• Experience supporting indirect procurement categories such as IT, HR, Facilities, Corporate Services, Marketing, and Professional Services.

• Experience with contract transformation initiatives, playbooks, template harmonization, and contracting process improvements.

• Familiarity with Source-to-Contract (S2C) organizations and procurement operating models.

• Experience advising senior leadership teams on strategic sourcing and procurement matters.

• Exposure to supplier governance, third-party risk management, and compliance programs.

• Experience working within large, matrixed multinational organizations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A senior commercial/procurement lawyer with 8-10 years of experience, strong APAC logistics and supply chain contracting expertise, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to partner directly with Procurement leadership on complex, high-value supplier transactions.
