Key Responsibilities

Production Database Operations:
- Provide 24/7 support for Production environments, ensuring maximum availability of Oracle 19c/21c databases.
- Manage and maintain Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) for high availability and load balancing.
- Perform routine Exadata-specific maintenance, including cell server management and InfiniBand/RDMA network monitoring.
Incident & Problem Management:
- Lead the technical response for database-related incidents, performing rapid troubleshooting of performance bottlenecks (SQL tuning, wait events).
- Conduct thorough Post-Mortems and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring database failures.
Automation & Microsoft Integration:
- Use Power Apps to build internal dashboards for real-time database health monitoring and "push-button" operational tasks.
- Develop Power Automate workflows to streamline database access requests and automate incident ticket creation based on OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) alerts.
Risk, Controls & Security:

Implement and monitor Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and data protection.
Enforce strict Risk and Control standards, including patch management (CPU/PSU), user auditing, and encryption (TDE) to meet compliance requirements.

Good to have MongoDB.
