We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Service Delivery Manager and SAP Transition Lead. In this dual role, you will be pivotal in developing methodologies, tools, and thought leadership to differentiate our services in the ERP advisory market. You will manage the handover and ongoing support of SAP systems (such as S/4HANA) from implementation to operations, ensuring technical and functional alignment with business needs.

Transition & Service Delivery Management

  • Project Handover: Manage the seamless transition of SAP systems from the implementation phase to live operations, overseeing project delivery, budget, and SLA adherence.

  • Transition Planning: Develop and implement effective transition plans to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

  • Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with system changes.

  • Methodology Development: Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, and accelerators to provide consistency across market-facing organizations.

Delivery & Project Management

  • Large-Scale Engagement: Participate in large-scale SAP client engagements, driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and budgets.

  • Stakeholder Management: Interface with clients on a daily basis at multiple levels, managing expectations and ensuring key stakeholders are informed of progress and outcomes.

  • Governance: Expertly manage status reporting to leadership and Client CXOs, managing teams against the plan and escalating risks/issues/decisions promptly.

Center of Excellence (CoE) & Operations

  • Organization Setup: Take the lead in setting up an SAP Center of Excellence from scratch, defining processes, assembling the team, and establishing governance frameworks.

  • Policy Development: Implement comprehensive policies and procedures for SAP operations, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

  • KPI Management: Define, track, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the CoE and functional modules to drive continuous improvement.

Incident & Problem Management

  • Resolution Management: Oversee the resolution of incidents (L2-L3) to restore services promptly.

  • Vendor Coordination: Escalate tickets to SAP (L4) when necessary and follow up through resolution.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and enhancement of SAP functionalities.

People Leadership

  • Team Management: Effectively lead and mentor a diverse team of SAP analysts and consulting professionals.

  • Inclusive Environment: Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment, providing performance management and guidance.

  • Technical Depth: Advanced knowledge and experience with SAP Finance.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to act as a forward thinker and self-starter who thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead local and offshore resources while adhering to project methodologies and PMO processes.

    To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Experience: A minimum of 15+ years of related work experience.

  • Leadership Track Record: At least 7 years of experience leading diverse teams.

  • Managed Services: Proven experience managing 3 to 4 Managed Services or Application Support Engagements from the Transition phase through to Operations.

  • Core SAP Expertise: At least 7 to 10 years of experience working with one or more of the following SAP modules:

    • SAP FICO, SD, MM, PM, PS, ABAP, or Basis.

  • Certifications:

    • ITIL Certification is mandatory.

    • SAP certification/s are highly preferred.

  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent understanding of Transition activities, Incident Management, Service Requests, Change Requests, Release Management, OCM, and Problem Management.
