Junior Network Engineer

Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer with 1-

2 years’ experience, to join our Network Operations Team in Bangalore. The

ideal candidate will assist in monitoring and maintaining network systems,

providing support for alarms, ticketing, DNS, and basic LAN issues. This role is

essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor network alarms and alerts to ensure timely response and resolution of

issues.

- Provide first-level support for network-related tickets, ensuring accurate

documentation and follow-up. And ticket dispatching.

- Assist in DNS request, including configuration and troubleshooting.

- Support basic LAN operations, including connectivity issues and device

configurations.

- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement network changes and

upgrades.

- Participate in shift rotation morning/afternoon as required.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related

field.

- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN).

- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
