About the Program
The Global Product Analyst program is seeking a junior to mid-level analyst with prior work experience to join our global delivery center in Pune, India as part of an integrated international team.
In this role, each analyst will own two distinct functional remits—a "major" and a "minor"—over a two- to four-year period. Balancing these dual responsibilities requires the analyst to master a broad skill set, build a comprehensive understanding of business development within a premier global asset manager, and drive projects critical to the success of the broader business.
Key structural aspects of the program include:
Biannual Reviews: Present key learnings and core business contributions to the wider Global Business Development organization every six months.
Team Integration: Meet regularly with major and minor stakeholders to collaborate, align on goals, and become fully embedded within the supported business units.
Career Progression: Upon successful completion of two years in the program, high-performing analysts may be offered placement in a permanent role within a supported team or another strategic group aligned with their skills and interests, subject to business needs.
Professional Growth: Senior leadership and program sponsors heavily invest in analyst development through structured training, formal mentorship, and cross-functional exposures.

Product Strategy & Development
Investment Vehicle Teams (e.g., ETFs, SMAs)
Marketing & Communications Support: Prepare and maintain high-quality product presentation materials by gathering market data, portfolio characteristics, and performance metrics across various investment products.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Product Positioning: Respond to inquiries regarding portfolio attributes, positioning, asset class perspectives, and macro outlooks.
Competitive Intelligence: Analyze and report on peer group competitive positioning, product flows, and industry trends to inform commercial strategies and product development.
Investment Reporting: Draft monthly portfolio performance commentaries and market outlooks, drawing on a deep understanding of macroeconomic events and investment strategies.
Investment Strategy Alignment: Attend relevant investment committee and strategy meetings to stay updated on market developments and portfolio positioning.
Process Automation: Proactively leverage technology to streamline reporting processes, standardize presentation workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 1–5 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, ideally within asset management, investment research, or client solutions.
Financial Acumen: Strong intellectual curiosity and foundational understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment products.
Data & Systems Skills: Highly comfortable querying, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple internal and external systems to drive commercial ideas.
Required: Deep proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred: Hands-on experience with industry tools such as Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar investment databases.
Collaborative Mindset: Strong interpersonal and consensus-building skills with a proven track record of working across global time zones and keeping cross-functional stakeholders updated.
Execution under Pressure: Ability to manage competing priorities, deliver under tight deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy and organization.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
Certifications: Series 7 FINRA certification (or willingness to obtain upon joining); pursuing or holding a CFA charter is preferred.
Commercial Mindset: A creative approach to problem-solving and a natural marketing "sense" is a distinct advantage.
