Responsibilities
Manage the deployment and configuration of hundreds of servers
Configure and manage the automated deployment processes
Automate the installation and deployment of software
Set up monitoring systems for all new hardware and software
Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications meet technicalrequirements
Diagnose performance issues both in the lab and in production and propose and implement improvements.
Server and application performance tuning.
Implementation of all privacy and security priorities.
Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, particularly pertaining to Big Data products and applications
Provide 24x7 on-call production support

Requirements
2+ years of experience with Linux, and open source platforms and/or Cloud native system in a DevOps setup.
2+ years of hands-on experience of using standard CICD/devops tools such as GitHub, Ansible, and Artifactory.
Minimum 2+ years of experience with scripting and/or development as it relates to automation.
Minimum 2+ years of experience with NoSQL (Cassandra, Mongo, Redis etc.).
1+ year experience of using Python
2+ years of experience with streaming processing software (Kafka) .
Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenStack and other PaaS cloud platforms.
Experience with ELK Stack (Elastic Search, logstash, Kibana) for monitoring.
Experience with Prometheus and Grafana collection and monitoring.
Track record of managing multiple priorities and competing demands.
Willingness to support production systems and to be part of on-call.
Excellent in troubleshooting Java application and network related issues.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Experience in writing technical system admin guides, installation guides and troubleshooting guides
Working knowledge of network principles such as DHCP and TFTP is desired.
