Job Description – Corporate Actions AnalystRole Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst to join the Institutional Investment Management Operations team in Pune. This role involves processing mandatory and voluntary corporate action events and resolving related reconciliation discrepancies.

Team Overview

The Corporate Actions team is a key operational unit responsible for processing all corporate action events on behalf of clients. The team collaborates closely with Portfolio Management, Reconciliation, Settlements, Data Administration, Client Reporting, Pricing, and Custodian Banks globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions across various security types

  • Support non-depository and distressed asset events

  • Confirm corporate action events with custodians and internal stakeholders

  • Monitor custodian and vendor notifications

  • Accurately apply investment decisions within defined timelines

  • Validate event details and ensure timely processing

  • Resolve cash and stock reconciliation discrepancies related to corporate actions

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, finance, or related field)

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis or operations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Corporate Actions or financial data management

  • Internship or exposure to financial services industry

Key Skills
  • Knowledge of multiple asset classes and portfolio operations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
