Payments unit is involved in handling transactions from corporate clients Barclays across Globe. It involves in facilitating

customers for their Domestic and Cross Border requirements.

On a daily basis transaction request are submitted for RTGS, NEFT, NACH, Clearing, and Cash Management Service

products.

Overall purpose of role

 Processing of inward /outward including Cross border transactions that are managed by Barclays corporate

Operations. This includes all the payment scheme such as IMPS/NEFT/RTGS/NACH.

 Executive is responsible for the accurate error free and timely processing of day today payment transactions

 To process transactions as per specified service level agreements adhering to internal and regulatory guidelines

Key Accountabilities

 To perform operational duties in TAT prescribed by the bank with due diligence.

 Understanding of MS Excel and MS Word

 Meticulous, fast learner and able to work with minimum supervision

 Able to work independently in a fast-paced working environment

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

 Work closely across various Operation and/or Infrastructure teams

Decision-making and Problem Solving

 Effective communication with Internal and External Stakeholders Able to work effectively as part of a small team,

covering different processes as and when required

Risk and Control Objective

Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk

Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

Person Specification

 Should have prior knowledge in processing of Payment products like RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, NACH, Clearing, and Cash

Management Services & Cross Border Payments and worked in operations set up.

 Ability to complete of high-volume routine/non-routine tasks and prioritise accordingly

 Workflow time management experience

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

 Must be a graduate

 Experience of 2-3 years
