About Liquid Financing BM
The current role is in Liquid Financing Business Management team, which is responsible for producing business
critical MIS reports, Business Strategy presentations, Business Performance reviews, Revenue Forecasting Models,
Budgeting Models and performing ad-hoc customized analysis. Over the past few years this team has created its own
niche brand within the business and the person joining this team has got a great ask to drive this brand further.
Overall purpose of role
The candidate would be supporting the Global Liquid Financing Business. The business management team
is responsible for controlling various aspects of business like the revenues, risk weighted assets, headcount,
ROE, etc. The business management team also prepares business strategies for the entire Liquid Financing
business globally. This team conducts various business review meetings with the respective sub-business
heads to review their performance and provide strategic guidance.
The role requires sound understanding of Liquid Financing Business and financial markets (Equities and
Fixed Income Securities in particular), good eye for detail and an ability to liaise with the Senior Business
Managers, trading desks, Treasury, Finance and Technology teams to ensure the timely and accurate
delivery of critical business strategy inputs. Along with the sound understanding of the Fixed Income
Securities, the candidate is also expected to have a strong understanding of the risk metrics
Key Accountabilities
Candidate is expected to deliver on the following business agenda:
Production of senior management meeting presentation packs and drafting talking points for the meeting
Production of Trading Business performance reviews
Production of Business Strategy Presentations
Business Competition Analysis and benchmarking using Coalition datasets along with vision to identify
wallet opportunities
Production of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) trend analysis for FI Liquid Financing Business
Maintaining and updating the revenue budgeting models as well as revenue forecasting models
Ad-hoc customized analysis as required by the business managers to analyze the business performance
or lead/lag indicators
Development of business intelligence dashboards in applications like Tableau / Qlikview
Automation of existing processes using business intelligence tools or VBA macros
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
Work as a team player on project based work involving many touch points across the bank
Communicate across desks within Markets and infrastructure
Manage risk and increase transactional efficiency

Person Specification
The candidate must possess proficiency in production of Microsoft PowerPoint presentation decks and be a
master in art of visual story-telling using graphical data representation
Good understanding of Markets Business (Equity, Liquid Financing, FX, Rates, Prime Services) and financial
instruments like bonds, CDS, options, swaps, etc.
Background of working in consulting firm on business strategy or investment banking division of a bank
focused on preparing sales/client presentation
Excellent PowerPoint and Advanced Excel knowledge along with clear demonstration of these skills in
previous work experience
Good knowledge of BI tools like Qlikview, Business Objects, Flightdeck etc.
Good understanding of Technology and Project Management
Excellent communication skills
Preferably a management degree
Confident in dealing with groups outside of immediate team (Sales, Trading, etc.)
