Job Title: Operations Analyst – Transfer Agency



Key Responsibilities

  • Process mutual fund transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, as-of trades, and trade corrections.

  • Perform ancillary tasks related to transaction processing.

  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding trade execution and settlement.

  • Review electronic correspondence to ensure compliance with FINRA regulations and company policies.

  • Assist in the daily resolution of department support items via workflow management systems and email.

  • Document results, outcomes, supervisory instructions, exception processing, and comments on workflow management systems.

  • Meet SLA delivery and productivity targets for each assigned function.

  • Maintain quality standards as outlined by department management.

Professional Development & Growth

An Operations Analyst will gain comprehensive exposure to core operational functions, ranging from transaction processing to risk and compliance operations. The role offers hands-on experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and operational workflows within the Transfer Agency space.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline providing foundational knowledge of financial markets and trade flow.

  • Foundational understanding of mutual fund back-office operations, transfer agency, transaction processing, or risk and compliance.

  • Prior experience in trade processing, settlement, or compliance surveillance is a plus.

  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment under time-sensitive deadlines.

  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access is a plus.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Understanding of mutual funds, business/financial operations, capital markets, banking, and securities.
